WATER CHARGE Information
Water Accounting Platform: The Water Accounting Platform is an online tool for landowners to track water supply, demand, and charges under Rosedale’s Water Charge Policy. Landowners can log in to view their water balance, estimate charges, and manage parcel information. If you need help on how to get set up with an account, please contact us at (661)589-6045 or admin@rrbwsd.com.
Farming Unit Form: Rosedale’s Water Charge Policy requires landowners to track groundwater use and available supply through designated Farming Units within the Water Accounting Platform. Farming Units consolidate all land owned or controlled by a landowner to determine water charges. Initial Farming Units have been created using the Kern County Tax Roll. If you need to add parcels—either those you own or by agreement with another landowner—please complete the Farming Unit Form above.
Landowner Water Exchange Form: RRBWSD Landowners can use the form above to publish contact information and interest in increasing/decreasing farming units and project water supplies for calendar year project water exchanges. Agreements regarding farming unit/project supply changes will need to be made directly between landowners. The District will not advise landowners on the form or content of such agreements. The District will require that both landowners confirm changes to farming units/project water supplies and may request copies of applicable agreements.
Landowner Water Exchange Responses: View landowner-submitted listings of available Project Water Supply exchanges. Use this resource to connect with others interested in buying or selling. All agreements must be made directly between landowners, and both parties must confirm any changes with the District.
